Ontario, California – May 15, 2019) – The marketing team at Ontario International Airport (ONT) has won 10 Communicator Awards – the largest competition in the world honoring creative excellence among communications professionals – for its work in showcasing ONT’s emergence as the fastest growing U.S. airport.

ONT received four Awards of Excellence for the airport’s Fast Facts video, a colorful minute-and-a-half animated video produced in partnership with DHD Films. 

In addition, ONT received six Awards of Distinction – for Fast Facts and its This is ONT video.

The multiple awards, presented by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA) and announced last week in New York City, further elevate ONT’s status as an industry leader and innovator. More than 6,000 entries were received for this year’s Communicator Awards, the leading international creative awards program honoring the best in advertising, corporate communications, public relations and identity work for print, video, interactive and audio.

I'm excited to announce that I'm headed back to Clexacon April 11-15th 2019, this time with the upcoming web series, Functional, written by Daniel Luna and directed by Cheska Bacaltos Masongsong. 

SYNOPSIS: Guillermo (played by Daniel Luna) and Jazmyne (played by me) are two best friends looking to find success and acceptance with the little resources (and sobriety) they have.  Functional is a new web series that focuses on topics within the LGBTQ+and Latinx community highlighting the highs and lows that the modern world has to offer.

The multi-award winning short, Salamagan, is killin' it in the festival circuit this year. It was most recently selected for Outfest's Signature Program, Girls Shorts, on July 20th at the Director's Guild of America. Tickets can be purchased HERE
